The method cost is determined by factors that include using the computational, memory, storage, and network resources. Compute Unit (CU): Compute units measure the computational resources required to compete a specific request for data via JSON RPC protocol. Simply said, they are a more granular and scalable measure used to calculate the cost of a specific method.

LlamaNodes uses Alchemy’s Compute Unit table to standardise the comparison process for our Premium users and make the process more transparent for the Web3 industry. Further, we price all methods in USD, so the users know exactly how much they are spending and where.
